Well if ever there was a classic made-for-movie-talking-dog-award then this would be it. I mean - what is a Christmas movie without a talking dog?
This film tells the story of a professor and an architect who fall in love. UNFORTUNATELY his son and her dog are trying to split them up. Her talking dog. Festive as anything eh? Oh there's also a talking iguana and a 20 year old daughter who wants to look 30, a bully story line (he also has a talking dog) .... In fact let's stay on the bully storyline as it takes the film to a pretty sinister level. The bully kidnaps the dog and ties it up in a shed. He then threatens to stab the poor wee blighter in the eye with a knife. Seriously. Ho ho ho Merry Christmas eh? Very very random. I am not going to lie - there is nothing really Christmassy in this film apart from the last scenes being held at Christmas so maybe not one to add to the best Christmas movies ever made then.
